Important advisory on recalled lithium batteries

Consequent upon the recall of a limited number of older generation 15Inch MacBook Pro Laptops by Apple, we would advise you to not fly with the affected models either as Hand-Baggage or Checked in Baggage until the battery has been verified/certified as safe or replaced by the manufacturer.

Please keep in mind:
  1. Inform the cabin crew when a device is damaged, hot or produces smoke, is lost or falls into the seat structure.
  2. If the damaged battery or device has been carried inadvertently on board an aircraft, please keep the battery or device turned off, protect it from accidental activation and do not charge it at any time.

Enhanced security at airports

In view of the current security advisory issued by representatives of the Indian authorities, security  is enhanced  across all airports in India. This may result in customers experiencing longer wait times and queues. To avoid any inconvenience, we request customers to arrive at the airport  three to four hours prior to scheduled departure. The enhanced  checks have been implemented with immediate effect and until further notice.
