On the first floor of the Galeries Lafayette, on the Champs-Élysées, you can almost smell lavender. Entering the Citron restaurant (“lemon” in French) is the promise of a journey to the south of France, filled with lemon trees, olive wood, straw rugs and red earthenware vases… The picture would be complete, but for missing cicadas!
Originating from the association of famous designer Jacquemus and equally illustrious Maison Caviar Kaspia, the restaurant pays tribute to Mediterranean cuisine in every shape and form, with smoked salmon and pesto toasts, onion and anchovies pie and vegetable mix pie for instance. To provide the best products, the duo fills bread baskets with artisan baker Sain; desserts come from the Stohrer pastry shop and produce is sourced from the Saint-Eustache orchards… Genuinely trendy, Citron does not take reservations. To avoid the long lines, we recommend being at the restaurant as soon as it opens. The menu and setting are well worth it!
