Boteco Lapa, an authentic Brazilian bar in the heart of Paris

At Boteco Lapa, tapas, drinks and even the atmosphere have a deceptive air of Copacabana. South America has never felt this close!

Smooth Bossa Nova notes already set the tone: at Boteco Lapa, the ambiance is warm and caipirinhas reign supreme. On the stone walls and overlooking the bench seats showcasing tropical patterns, the Mona Lisa lovingly hugs Pelé, the global 1960s football icon and national hero, as a nod to the spirit of this place where Brazil meets France. The establishment is run by two friends, one French and the other Brazilian, who wanted to recreate the ambiance of a real boteco - bar in Portguese They have succeeded! With decoration evoking the Amazon rainforest and a refined menu harking back to Ipanema, you will be able to share typical tapas like picanha beef, black beans and sesame hummus, tapioca pudding dadinho (tapioca with grilled cheese, Serrano ham and sweet and sour sauce), as well as the signature ceviche. Pair this South American culinary adventure with a Tonka bean beer, brewed on site, or one of the many variations on the caipirinha, for example the caipi-maté (rum, ice maté, lemon and thyme syrup), all in moderation. You can even learn how to make yours during one of the cocktail lessons, every first Saturday of the month. Cheers! Or as you say in Brazil, Tim-Tim!
